The living room
The living room is bright, with lattice windows along the whole wall, low bookshelves and a weathered turquoise display cabinet. Leather armchairs and a large sofa surround a steel and glass coffee table, and a birdcage in the ceiling becomes the room’s lamp.
Hall, bistro kitchen and bathroom
In the hall a gilded mirror meets a round pedestal table – more on that in The hall is the home’s first impression. The kitchen is a bistro kitchen with white tiles and open shelves, and the bathroom has a checkerboard floor and twin basins, as in Checkerboard floors, three ways to lay them.
