Blue bedroom with navy curtains and a writing desk, apartment on Östermalm

Rooms en suite, each with its own colour

The rooms run en suite through double doors, with plasterwork and fireplaces. The bedroom is blue with navy curtains and a writing desk, the living room has a burgundy sofa and green velvet curtains, and the dining room is pale pink beneath a sculptural chandelier.

The library and the study are lined with books, with a white desk and a blue table lamp as the only splash of colour.

A glass wall and checkerboard floors

A black-framed glass wall lets light through to the kitchen, and checkerboard floors tie the hall, kitchen and bathrooms together. Read more about the floors in Checkerboard floors, three ways to lay them and about the hall in The hall is the home’s first impression.
