Green mosaic bathroom in a villa in Djursholm
A bathroom in a villa in Djursholm where green mosaic, glass walls and large windows make the room bright and open, and orange textiles add warmth. It was published in Sköna Hem in 2010 and the following year in the Norwegian magazine Maison.

Light, glass and green mosaic
The bathroom sits under a glazed roof with black glazing bars, and the shower is separated by glass walls so the light reaches all the way in. The walls are clad in green mosaic that ties together shower, benches and niches, and a white vanity with a basin stands free in the room.
Orange towels, a striped rug and details in gold and brass warm up the cool green. It is a modern bathroom, but with the same care for materials and details as a classic one.
A bathroom renovation with colour
A bathroom renovation does not have to be white. Colour in tiles or mosaic lasts for many years when it is chosen with care, and it makes a bathroom personal. Compare it with the more classic striped-ceiling bathroom on Yxlan and the bathrooms on Grevgatan.
